Christmas, Crazy Collies and Snow

We had lovely weather on Christmas Eve. After getting preparations for Christmas over with, I took the dogs out to the pasture and let them have a free for all with the wrapping paper tubes. It proved quite entertaining. Darcie ran non stop for almost 30 minutes.

Chase and Tess wanted Darcie's tube. She wouldn't share so they did the only sensible option, they ran her into a tree.

 It's all miiinnnnnneee!

On Christmas we had SNOW! Darcie adored it.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2012!

We also started a new tradition this year. The first annual "Wrapping of the Collies." Due to time constraints I just picked two Collies to practice on this year. But next year, watch out! They'll all be out in full force!

Darcie thought she was hot stuff!

Chase took all the merriment in stride, as usual.

He had a lot more paper on him but managed to remove half of it before we got the picture!

All in all great fun was had by all!

Our last show of the year was two weeks ago in Dallas. Darcie was only entered one day, for fun. She had a blast, showed like a dream and went Winners Bitch for her first point, and then sailed her way to Best of Opposite over the bitch special! Alright, Darcie! 2 RWB and a WB/BOS only shown three days in 2012 in the puppy classes is not too shabby at all. I am very pleased!

Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, everyone! See you next year!
